# Behance Commission Art Scam So, I would say I’m extremely new to art commissions and this whole scene in general, but after this experience I feel the need to bring it to light in case other people have interacted with them. I’ve also reported them on Behance, Paypal, and Twitter (if applicable). This will be a long, mostly unorganized post, but I think I’ve uncovered a small-medium scale commission scam ring. Basically, I saw a reddit post advertising their portfolio in one of the art commission subreddits, and followed the link and liked what I saw. The stuff looked good, non-AI generated, and semi-consistent. I messaged the creator, we got to talking and eventually we agreed upon 50% of the payment through PayPal G&S. ![[image-93.png]] Throughout the conversation, I got the vibe they were using AI to respond to my messages, it felt very similar to what you’d expect. I even asked at one point, and they seemed to take back over and write some responses themselves again I guess. Anyway, it really threw me off once we got to PayPal. They sent me a link that was a different @name, different display name, and different profile picture. ![[image-94.png]] At this point, my alarm bells *should* have been going off, but it wasn’t until after the payment that I started digging. Here’s a quick rundown of my findings: The name “DevArtistry” brings up [this Reddit post](https://www.reddit.com/r/behance/comments/1dttcig/profile_with_stolen_works_behance_not_acting/) where they talk about a scammer using stolen artwork/AI art to scam people on Behance. The profile picture matches exactly to the one from the PayPal profile. Searching “@DigiWorldwide” returns nothing. From what I’m guessing, this guy (or group of people) have made numerous accounts >10-15 that all scrape art from various sources, post it on their portfolios, vouch for each other and then try to scam people into commissions. Some of them are already banned, some link to multiple of the above Behance accounts, some link to different accounts under different Reddit users in the *same post*.
